Well, I can't believe it is already time to start thinking about curriculum for next year, but it sure is. So, this is what I am thinking for next year.
Math - Saxon
Enghlish - Rod and Staff or Shurley English or A Beka
History - We are planning to be part of a 1 day program that focuses completely on a period of history. We will complement what they learn that 1 day throughout the week. No book.
Science - Rod and Staff or A Beka
We have a used curriculum sale every year close by and I can get almost all my curriculum at a great price!!

I think you can use me as part of your curriculum too. You could call it Socialization 101, I think Nathaniel brings to the table many of the things they would encouter by going to school. You know teasing & bullying.
Do you take summer off from home schooling or do you teach them throughout the summer?

I do usually take the Summer off. The plan is always to do school throughout the Summer or to start a month early just to have a head start. It never seems to actually happen that way. Hey, it's the though that counts, right?
