This is the 1st week I am posting my deals with the Grocery Gathering! Check it out for more great deals at other grocery stores.

$1.13/2

Lipton Family Size Tea Bags (bogo)
$2.33/2

One more thing I would like to make note of...
Publix carries Simply Smart milk. It is always 2half-gallons/$6. Right now there are dispensers for $1/1 half-gallon. This would make this milk 2/$4 which is the same price as regular milk and it tastes so much better and it is organic!
I stocked up on these coupons because they don't expire until December!

Thanks! I see lots I plan to get on Sunday. In SC Publix prints a Mystery Coupon in the Sunday paper. If you spend $10 or more and you have the Mystery Coupon, you get the Mystery Item for $0.01! Last week was bleach. Wonder what it will be this time? Thanks again for your hard work!

My Publix said it is Corporate policy to not allow coupons for a free item. Does any one else have this problem? I tried this with the Oust BOGO coupon and they refused because I would not be paying anything for the item. I didn't think it was corp but rather just didn't want someone getting a deal that good. I may have to switch Publix's...Thanks for the great info though. Love the site!

Our Publix in SC rings up BOGO at 1/2 price. If it's an item that is say $5.00 for one and it's BOGO then they both ring up at $2.50 each. Since I'm really paying 1/2 price for each one and not getting one "free" then I am able to use a coupon for each item. Maybe that's the difference? Does your Publix ring up one item at full price then the other at $0.00? Just a thought.

Jesabella and Julie,

My Publix rings up one full price and the other at $0.
When I give the bogo coupon, they take off the full price of the one item I paid for.
I usually fill in the price of the item to make it easier for the cashier and to help avoid any confusion.
I'm sure the policy is different from store to store and state to state. I will call corporate to find out the "official" policy

You will find that Publix has an official policy for different regions. Florida seems to accept less than other states. For instance they don't double coupons for the most part and they don't accept coupons from pharmacy stores like Walgreen's. Where our store in Tennessee does.

My store is fine with IP BOGO Qs, but they ring things at half price, so I still end up paying the half price for one of the two items.

Usually, though, ringing at half price is good as it allows me to buy in odds if I don't have even coupons.

I'm new to your blog--found you via Money Saving Mom. I'm also a FL homeschooler--we're doing K with our 5yo and 4yo.

Thank you for your Publix tips! There were several things on your list that I needed anyway, so it's even better that I can get such great deals on them.

I look forward to reading more from you! :o)
