Spent $42 and Saved $327!!

There are good shopping weeks and then there are great ones!! Last night was one of those really fun trips. I will say the cashier looked at me like I was very strange and the manager had to override the last half of my coupons because they were over the limit.
If it hadn't been the night before Easter when they were going to be closed the next day and only one manager on duty, it would've have been even better. I did feel bad for that poor manager by the end. It probably took 45 minutes to check out and he had people calling him every direction.
So, onto the incredible deals! By the end of it all I used $180 just in coupons!!

My camera is not working, so here is the general idea of what I walked away with:

20 bottles of Kraft Salad dressing (FREE after $1.50/1 coupons)
16 bags of Lay's chips (ALL FREE after buying Hillshire meat)
8 tubs of Hillshire meat ($1 each after $2 and $.55 coupon)
12 jars of Mt. Olive Pickles ($4.80 after coupons)
4 boxes of GM cereal ($1.15 a box after coupons)
2 Publix re-usable bags (FREE after buying cereal)
12 blocks of Kraft cheese ($16 after coupons)
10 boxes of Land o Lakes Butter ($14.50 after coupons)
8 loaves of bread ($16)
9 bags of BE veggies ($8 after coupons)
4 cartons OJ ($4 after coupons)
Whole Chicken ($4)

There were also several other small needed items that I purchased that were not on sale (Toilet Paper, milk, etc...).
I used my normal manufacturer coupons and $50 in $10/40 Whole Foods coupons. It was a trip that was fun, embarrassing and exhausting all in one!
I can't wait to see the same kind of thing next week!

So they will let you use 20 of the same coupon? I am surprised they do.
Good for you for figure out how to save that much.

Kari,
Yes, you can use 20 as long as you buy 20. And, Publix takes competitor coupons. That's why I love them so much!
