As I've said before, I really cannot function well without a schedule. So, without further ado, here is what I hope to be able to stick to on a pretty regular basis. I'm sure it will need more and more tweaking as time goes by, but that's the great thing about a schedule. You may notice there is no time allotted for exercise. Although this has been something I have been trying to add to my schedule, I have not figured out how to make it work yet. Also, I want to get my priorities straight before I try to add anything else.
7:30 a.m. - Wake Up!! (I know that may not seem super early to many of you, but I have a bad habit of waking up with my youngest around 7:30, putting a show on for him and then going back to bed)
7:30 - 8:30 a.m. - Get ready for the day (it doesn't usually take me that long, but I need some wiggle room just in case it's a particularly bad hair day!) This is also the time the kids are getting themselves breakfast.
8:30 - 9:30 a.m. - Check e-mail and blog. Kids are getting ready for the day.
9:30 - 10:30 a.m. - Quiet time with the Lord. Kids do their own quiet time (everyone goes to a room by themselves with a book or toys for the younger ones).
10:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Clean up around house. Kids clean their own rooms and then do their chores.
11:30 - 1:00 p.m. - Make/Eat/Clean up Lunch
1:00 - 1:30 p.m. - Play/Read time with mommy
1:30 - 4:00 (give or take) p.m. - School and nap time
4:00 - 5:30 p.m. - Kids play outside. I will either work outside (weed landscaping, water plants, etc...) or clean inside and then make dinner.
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Daddy comes home and we eat dinner.
6:30 - 7:00 p.m. - Clean up dinner.
7:00 - 8:00 p.m. - Daddy time with kids/Family Time
8:00 - 8:30 p.m. - Kids get ready for bed
8:30 - 8:45 p.m. - Bed time for the munchkins
8:30 -10:00 p.m. - Mommy and Daddy time/Blog Time
10:00 - 11:00 p.m. - Get ready for bed and go to bed!! (no more late nights for no reason)
I know everyday will not stick to this schedule and I may end up changing it all together. But I do like having an idea of what I would like my day to look like and a goal in mind. I will let you know how this goes and how much discipline I have. The hardest part is going to be only logging on to the computer for my blog 2 times a day. How sad is that?

I am totaly copying your schedule--that is such a nice one fo rme too--to spend the morning, letting my kids get their chore cards done and taking our time eating our breakfasts, cleaning up, doing a few loads of laundry--then after lunch hitting the school stuff--the only thing I find myself doing different is taking Crystal's suggestion up of doing as much dinner prep as I can in the morning.
So while the kids are doing their chores, you can usually find me now doing dinner prep--it really makes the hours of dinner time go so smoothly for me to have most of it predone!
It all looks great!
Hi...I think I found you from Frugal Friday. I love your schedule! I don't homeschool but have thought of it. I've always been afraid because I'm just not a morning person. I could so do your schedule! Thanks for the inspiration...it's nice to know that if I ever do try it, I can make things work my way.
I enjoyed your blog...if it's ok, I will put it on my blog sidebar. I am also inspired from your grocery deals. I always thought I was super frugal, but I guess not. My family of 5 is struggling to keep things at $100 (all things included). Does your $50 include beauty products and househould products too? About $30 per month of ours is eaten up by diapers!
Feel free to stop by and visit me!
would you mind sharing what you buy at the store to only spend $50 a week and be able to feed and clean for a house of 6 people?
thanks
