Homemade Denim Skirts!!

I know, this may sound very homeschool mom of me, but I was looking at this blog and I love the idea here for making homemade denim skirts that are actually cute and fun. Morgan probably has 8 pairs of jeans but only likes the way 2 of them fit her. I think this is such a great solution for those extra pairs of jeans or outgrown jeans for summertime girls clothes.
There are directions on how to do it that seem fairly simple. If I attempt this project (in my spare time :), I will be sure to let you see the results. I sure do feel inspired at the moment.

Precious! My girls love wearing denim skirts to church in the winter with Big Bulky sweaters.
I wish I could sew. :(

Super cute idea! I feel like doing it right now - but no girls. It would be a fun project to do with a group of little girls! (Or sell them on ebay - just kidding : )! )

What a great idea!! I used to make shorts out of my pants, but never thought to do a skirt!! I am not, however, inspired to do so right now!! I will let you know if that EVER happens!! :o)

I like to make purses out of the boys old jeans. I did this last summer when Katy and Emily were visiting. I let them pick out the fabric for the lining and all of the embellishments. Sweet memories.
