Innovation

Sometimes, Jordan gets bored when I am doing school with the older 3 and his little innovative mind starts searching for something to do. This is the latest creation. I'm not exactly sure what the purpose is other than being a ramp. I especially like the tennis shoe landing pad.

I still think one of my favorites is when he would use scarves, belts, ribbon, or whatever he could find to tie objects together. You walk out of the room and the next time you enter (5minutes later) you would have to solve a puzzle to walk through the room :)

I think the proper science term for the ramp is an inclined plane. See, he was doing science and didn't even know it! He learned that making a ramp makes less work to roll the pencil down!

Maybe the ramp in the shoe is like walking the plank. Instead of having to jump in an alligator infested water you land in the smelly pit. It is always amazing what they put together to make things. I love blocks and legos and pieces of fabric that they make into so many different things.

I love it. That is totally something my 6 yr old boy would do.
