Getting Ready for the Cruise

Well, we leave in only 4 days to go on our cruise to the Bahamas and celebrate 10 years of marriage. I am getting very excited. I spent a good part of the day yesterday researching what to do and where to go when we get there.
I am trying to stay away from the major touristy stuff and find some true island relaxation. So, I think we have a pretty good head start. If you have ever been there and have some tips of what to do and don't do, I would love to hear it.
You will all be so pleased to learn that Royal Caribbean has free Wi-Fi on board the ship. So, I should be able to keep you updated on how the trip is going. That is, if we ever make it out of the room :) You know, it has been a long time since we've had no kids to interfere. I know that may be more info that you would like to know, but too bad!! I wrote it just to make you cringe.

Glad to know you are looking forward to "rocking the boat"! No need to blog about it! When we were in the Bahamas I went swimming w/the sharks...I highly recommend it!

Hey Cass, we did the same cruise May 07' I can't help you with the private island we didn't get to go bc of the weather. If you want some R&R out of the sun, the running deck has lounge chairs and no sun-good place to read a book and quiet. I recommend buying a refillable soda mug when first boarding($25 for the entire trip) that's if you plan on drinking alot of soda. We got to port by 11:00am so we could be one of the first to get on board ;-) I suggest looking at the other passangers pictures they have out on one of the decks everyday, we were cracking up at some of them :-) We also paid $6.oo at Johnny Rockets so we could get the all you can eat, yea we pigged out! Enjoy, relax, eat (maybe you will even come back having baby #5) :-)
Love, Valarie

Okay you are going on a cruise without children - you should have no time to BLOG - we can all wait till you come home to hear about the trip.

We love Royal Caribbean! You will have a wonderful time. Relax and go at your on pace.

When you disembark be aware that you will probably be 'attacked' by the locals yelling at you to take their transportation or braid your hair!
