Right now, I am in Jacksonville, FL on a Women's Retreat with my church.
I am looking forward to a refreshing weekend with me and God. I need it. I have allowed myself to use the busyness of school, work and life to put my relationship with God on the back burner. I am really looking forward to spending some good, quality time with my Lord.
I am also going to be speaking at the retreat this year. My sister-in-law and I are going to be sharing our story of a broken relationship being restored. This is the first time I've shared my testimony about anything in front of any large group. I usually don't get nervous very easily, but I have never done this before. So, we'll see how it goes.
Please pray that the Jesus speaks to each and every woman present this weekend.

Your post this morning grabbed me for couple of reasons. 1 you are just a hour away from where I am. 2 I have a broken relationship with my sister. I thought it was mended this year but when we were face to face, it was another story.
I never been to a ladies retreat,bet it will be filled with blessings. I also homeschool 4 there is never enough time in the day. God bless
Have a blessed time. Our ladies retreat is later this month. My best friend and I plan two a yr. for our ladies and God is always faithful to do mighty things.

Oh, I wish you would've come! It was just so great. You know, crying, sharing and learning. Just what every woman longs for.
It breaks my heart to hear about you and your sister. It is so hard to be in that place. I pray for restoration to come. Just look for those things that God is calling you to do.
Next year, if we come to Jacksonville, you have to come!!
