My Grocery Shoppping for the Week!

Well, it is just one of those weeks. I couldn't pass up taking a picture and showing how much I got for so little. You still have tomorrow and Wednesday (for some locations) to get in on these deals.
I only paid $24 and saved almost $70!! To see how I did it, go here.

I plan on stopping by Winn-Dixie tonight to get bread for $.90/loaf and a great deal on Pork Tenderloins w/ mashed potatoes.

Great job! I have never cooked a pork tenderloin. It intimidates me. I see recipes in Southern Living but always think it is expensive. Do you cook your's whole or cut it into smaller chops or pieces? Just curious.

Southerner,

My husband usually slow cooks them on the grill and they just fall apart. I was always scared to do it as well. Now, I am sold!

Thats not very much food there - you'll be back at the store again in no time

Anonymous,

Actually, I buy multiple items each week of different things. So, you may not see everything I need to cook for the week, but that's because I have that stuff from previous weeks stocking up.
It's really a completely different way to shop (and it cuts my grocery bill in half).

Amazing! I think you are amazing! I want to learn how to do that! My husband would be so proud! Teach me Cassie - teach me! :)

Kimberly,

If I can do it, you can do it. I was actually so surprised at how much I started to save once I got the hang of it.
It takes a little work at the beginning and some extra planning each week. But, it is totally worth it to us.
Feel free to e-mail me anytime with any questions you have.
