Loving Well

Well, we did it! On Saturday morning, Jaime and I shared our testimony of how God has taken a relationship that was once very broken and has restored it to something wonderful. I am not going to write the entire thing here. If you want all the details, you can go over to Jaime's blog and read the whole thing.
Basically, we believed a lot of Satan's lies about each other and really didn't like each other all that well. We disagreed about most things and we were very bitter.
Amazingly, God redeemed our relationship and now she is one of my closest friends. We can't imagine what life would be like if we hadn't chosen to do the hard work of restoration.

Praise the Lord for bringing life back to something that was dead!!

By the way, the picture above is Jaime and I at the retreat. She refused to post this picture on her blog because she thought she looked terrible. I think the picture is super cute (especially of me :), so here it is.

The overall message of the retreat was "Loving Well". The sessions were from Beth Moore (via video). I don't know if you have ever done a Beth Moore study before, but she is just incredible. I love her to death!

I was very challenged to love the people in my life better than I do. It was a great weekend full of tears, laughter and sharing. You know, just what a woman loves :) I look forward to living out what I learned.

I read about it on Jaime's blog and that is so sweet. (Wiping tears, sniffling) God is amazing and CAN make greatness our of what we see as impossible. I think she looks adorable in the photo. Good that you have the kind of relationship to just tell her to get over it.
