HOT OFF THE PRESS (literally)! Thanks to Crystal @ Money Saving Mom for the tip of a new CVS $3/15 coupon. You have to do a little work to get it but you can print as many copies as you want and it doesn't expire until June 6!! Sweet!!
Ok, click here and then click on sign in and register for a free 7-day trial of the Washington Post. After you register, you will need to confirm in an e-mail. Once that is done, go to the recent issue of the Post and then change the date to 4/24. Scroll on the right hand side to the very last page (128) and there it is!!

CVS - Stockpiling the Gift Closet

One of the things I love about shopping at CVS is getting things for free that I can use later as gifts. I often buy things for free or nearly free that I don't need at my house but I could use them as a future gift for someone else.
For instance, I do not have any children in diapers anymore, but I always buy the diapers when I can get them for free. I have diapers and other baby essential items in my gift closet that are perfect for a baby shower or visiting a new mom at the hospital. It has come in very handy.
I also have lots of nice candles that I can use for a friend's birthday.
Wanna know what my husband got for his birthday? That's right, a brand new razor!!
Shopping at CVS has not only curbed my household items budget, it has lowered my gifts budget tremendously!!

With the new sale ad out on Sunday and the $5/15 and $3/15 beauty coupon expiring yesterday, I just had to go last night and I was very pleasantly surprised with what I walked away with. So, here is a breakdown of the transactions. BTW, a lot of CVS location will take $/$$ coupons that are expired, so these deals may still work if you have those coupons.

Total was around $10.50. I used a $10 ECB and paid $.50 OOP. I also got a $5 ECB for buying $20 worth of P&G products from ad.

I plan to go back Saturday after noon (don't ask me why this was part of the requirements this week for a particular sale) to get the razors that are sale. There are 2 Gillette razors on sale:
Gillette Fusion Power Razor @ $9.99 get $6 ECB. I have a $2 man coupon from paper and will add on a $2/10 coupon and get the razor for free.
Gillette Fusion Manual Razor @ $8.99 get $6 ECB. I will add on the Mennen Deodarant @ $3.99 and get $3.99 in ECB. I have a $2 man coupon for razor from paper and will add on a $2/10 coupon and get both for free.

Well, I have taken a couple of trips to CVS this week and here a couple of my best deals:
