I also LOVE the book "Shepherding a Child's Heart" (I'm reading it again right now). I try to get to heart root of the problem (ungratefulness and selfishness) and address that as well. I am hoping that as he gets older, he will become mature enough to grow out of some of these habits. Some, I am sure will last a lifetime. I mean my husband has some OCD qualities that drive me crazy now :) I'm sure he could say the same about me.Cassie - Homeschooling Fourhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15604648403487773900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6914171276894814434.post-87396890757253583312008-05-28T21:54:00.000-04:002008-05-28T21:54:00.000-04:00Oh my Gosh, my 4 year old is exactly like he is. ...Oh my Gosh, my 4 year old is exactly like he is. I am so scared that if he does not break out of this behavior he is going to be a very sad and miserable person. I , like you, do not give into his request which causes World War 3 and usually he ends up freaking out throwing a fit and getting in serious trouble. <BR/>What do you do? Are you just counting on consistancy to help change his behavior or is their more we can do as parents to help this get fixed before it is too late????Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6914171276894814434.post-89623306486100203442008-04-01T10:32:00.000-04:002008-04-01T10:32:00.000-04:00He is so adorable!! Sadly there is a lot of drinking involved with St Patrick's day over here but we love the parades.
